Q: What is the cost to attend the two-day event in 2016?
A: The cost of R3850.00* includes: two and a half hour sessions with the international companies, kits/product for all classes, Tea/Coffee/Juice and snack
on arrival, morning and afternoon tea, Buffet Lunch, Parking, Entrance into the Event Retail Store, Give-aways and Lucky Draws.


 

Q: What are the payment terms for the two-day event in 2016?
A: PAYMENT OPTIONS
- Single payment must be received within 30 days of booking.
- Payment Plan: Deposit is required within 14 days of booking with first payment the consecutive month.
- All payment must have the final payment received by no later than 16 August 2016.
- Prices are subject to change due to rand/dollar exchange rate.

- Single Payment: R3850.00 by EFT Payment or Credit Card paid within 30 days of booking.
- Two Payments: R1925.00 by EFT Payment or Credit Card.
First payment must be received within 30 days of booking with second payment one month later.
The final payment received by no later than 16 August 2016.
- Three Payments: Three (3) consecutive monthly payments of R1 283.50 by EFT Payment or Credit Card.
First payment must be received within 30 days of booking with second and third payments paid in following
consecutive months. The final payment received by no later than 16 August 2016.
- Four Payments: R750.00 deposit and four (4) consecutive monthly payments of R800.00 by EFT Payment or Credit Card.
First payment must be received within 30 days of booking. The final payment received by no later than 16 August 2016.
- Five Payments: R750.00 deposit and five (5) consecutive monthly payments of R650.00 by EFT Payment or Credit Card.
First payment must be received within 30 days of booking. The final payment received by no later than 16 August 2016.
- Six Payments: R750.00 deposit and six (6) consecutive monthly payments of R550.00 by EFT Payment or Credit Card.
First payment must be received within 30 days of booking. The final payment received by no later than 16 August 2016.

 
Q: Does the cost include accommodation and travel arrangements?
A: The cost excludes accommodation and travel arrangements. Accommodation specials are available in Johannesburg and in Cape Town.

Q: How do we book to attend the event?
A: Simply complete the online booking form. Alternatively, contact us on 082 456 1948 to book telephonically.

Q: How do we go about reserving a table?
A: Groups of five to six delegates may reserve seating in advance with the following conditions:
• Group booking of five - six confirmed delegates at a table.
• Full names of the confirmed delegates to be seated at the table.
• Reserved tables will be only be confirmed once all delegates at the table have paid in full.
• Group booking tables are on a first come, first serve basis.
• The doors to the venue will open at 07h40. All reserved tables not seated by 07h50 will be forfeited.

Q: May I book for a friend?
A: If you are booking for a friend, please complete a separate booking for each person, under their own name.
Please do not combine bookings with other delegates attending.

Q: Are you able to accommodate special dietary requirements?
A: We are able to accommodate most dietary requirements. However, some dietary requirements may incur an additional cost to yourself.

Q: What time will the classes end?
A: One-day event: The classes will end at 17h30 on the Saturday in both Johannesburg and Cape Town.
Two-day event: The classes will end at 17h00 on the Saturday and 17h00 on the Sunday in both Johannesburg and Cape Town.
Q: What do I need to bring to registration?
A:
You will require positive identification in the form of your ID document, driver’s license or passport to register. You will not be allowed to register on behalf of someone else for security reasons. Remember we are unable to allow 'substitutes' into the classes. If you are unable to attend any of the classes, please send us a written notification in advance so that arrangements can be made to have the class packs/kits put aside and arrangements made for you to collect them after the event.

Q: What if I need to cancel my booking?
A: SA Scrapbook Convention bookings are non-transferable. Should you cancel, the non-refundable deposit will be deducted from your payment and the balance will be refunded less an admin fee of no less than R250. No refunds will be given whatsoever should you cancel six weeks or less prior to the event. In this case, you will forfeit your full payment and the kits will be kept and collection arranged after the event. Refunds will be credited to the same credit card used for the initial transaction. If the payment was made by EFT payment, the refund will be done by cheque less any bank charges. Please allow 3 to 4 weeks for processing. Hotel and travel cancellations are not the responsiblilty of SA Scrapbook Convention.

Q: What if I have booked and paid but do not register and attend the event?
A: Notification must be made to executive staff in writing or email. If arrangements are not made before classes begin, SA Scrapbook Convention can not be held liable if class kits are not available.

Q: What do I need to bring in terms of tools and supplies?
A:
You will need to bring the supplies and tools as listed in each class description. A general consolidated supply list will be available closer to the event. It is important that you check the website on a regular basis to check for any updates and changes.
